Points:
• It is important for us to finish what we’ve started.
Corinth. 13:13 “And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity”.
• Love has no end; it goes on.
• Things you have faith for, is in that rest which is love.
• Why do you hope in something that you do not have or see? The love of God causes us to have faith to believe for the impossible.
• Phil 4:19 “And my God will supply your every need according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus”. (Because he loves me).
• Even if I should die, and I do not receive, nothing can move the love of God from me.
• My worst situation will work for my good because He loves me.
• Believing in Him is the basis of your faith. Do you believe that He is your God, and that Christ died for you?
• We have condemning minds, but God still loves us. “God I missed the mark”- God still loves us and we have perfect knowledge of this; the knowledge of God’s love.
• Romans 8: 38, 39-Paul stated, “For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor heavenly rulers, nor things that are present, nor things to come, nor powers, 8:39 nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord”.
• We must have starting and finishing faith through the Holy Ghost.
• We move on by faith continually to reach the level of maturity in faith we should have.
• God will give you what you need today; you do not have to look for anything. I am high on Jesus!
• With all my short comings, God will take you through all, and still loves you.
• While you are young, draw closer to Jesus, and talk to Him.
• God cares about everything, and every step of your journey.
• Galatians 5:7 “Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth? This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you”.
• God calls you into the Body of Christ to do a work in ministry. If you have the heart to do a certain work, just do it! If you walk in faith, God will give you the desire. Do not compare your gift to someone else’s; do what God has called you to do. You will be held accountable if you do not do what God has called you to do.
• Phil. 2:16 “ Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of
Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither labored in vain”.
• In our faith, we must strive.
• Colossians 1: 27 “To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory”.
• Paul’s desire was to help every believer to become like Jesus, and the Hope of Glory.
• Help the Christ in others to develop; this is our task. We need to share the good news.
• What causes us to start and not finish our faith?
1. Unbelief – we must confess to God our weakness of unbelief. Strive beyond your
limitations. By faith, trust God, and He will work the miracle. Unbelief can
separate us from God.
2. Doubt- it causes us to incomplete our task/work.
Jesus said,” Oh thou of little faith…”. God promised you things many years ago,
and the winds (storms of life) started blowing to say bad economy, illness in your
body, and various negative things. Repent of your doubt!
3. Fear- Luke 12:27 “Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith”? All is not doom and gloom when you trust the Lord.
• Luke 19:17 “And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities”.
• We are not appreciating the reward for little things. God is not going to give you great rewards because of great things you did; but Jesus said: Matthew 25:21“His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord”.
• It’s the little things that you do with accuracy and completeness that God loves.
• God’s judgment is full of love.
• The enemy is out to discourage us and cause us to waver in our faith.
• James 2: 8 “Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works”.
• We will be tested, but God has never denied us. We finish in faith to achieve in God’s purpose.
4. Wavering- James 1:6 “But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed”.
• Winds causes us to waver in our faith. Winds will blow, but fear not. Tornadoes and twisters come in your life, and you do not know what to do or have nothing, but God will take us through.
• Pray for others in worst situations than yourself. The Lord s able to keep you in stormy times.
• Pray: “Lord, give me what I need to have finishing faith”.
• Rev. 2;10 “Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast [some] of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life”.
• Do not worry about anything, because beyond this is that!
• What God has is greater; your laboring is not in vain.
• Be steadfast and unmovable. Cleave unto your faith-the Lord your God.
• God has brought us this far; do not give up now!
• Let us not shuffle our way into faith- STRIVE!
• Pick up your feet and say, “Lord, where you plant my feet, I will go”.
• When you are free from weights, you can soar!
• Hebrews 12:1 “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us…”
• Too many people are falling by the way side. STAY IN THE RACE!
• Job 17:19 “The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger”.
• James 5:11 “Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy”.
• God has compassion upon His servants. He will deliver you. At the end, Job was better off than when he started. FINISH THIS FIGHT!
• Paul: Acts 20:24 “But I do not consider my life worth anything to myself, so that I may finish my task and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God’s grace”.
• Today, what will you do to please the Lord?
• Tomorrow, what will you do to please the Lord?
LET GOD GET THE GLORY FOR YOUR GOOD DEEDS.
